Electric fuel shutoff has no power

for Honda Power Equipment Portable Generator EB6500

Generator would not start after extended storage. Tracked it down to the electric solenoid on the bottom of the carb bowl was not working - gummed up. Replaced it with a new one (tested on the battery and it snaps in and out) but still does not work. Turns out there is no power at the bullet connectors for the solenoid. Is there a fuse of something else that could be causing no power to this electric shutoff?
