saw won't stay running unless you hold the choke on and give it gas with the trigger. It bogs down with just the trigger unless you keep the trigger at just the pressure and then chain won't turn. When it does run and you start to cut a limb, it won't keep the speed of chain going.

0 i have the same problem and have been looking at it. same model too. I thought maybe it was because the choke and the gas mechanisms are supposed to stay "meshed" on the backside of the carb, but that does not seem possible, and other pictures I have seen look just like the way mine is set now. I have tightened the gas feed wire as well in hopes that would help, but it still won't run. You have to hold the choke almost closed, then it will run at speed and make the chain run.
