for Honda Power Equipment Lawn Mower HRR216SDA

The drive belt came off of my lawn mower and I can not get it back own. I have the motor completely loose and can fit the belt on the small pulley under the engine, but the back pulley or loop is tight against the housing. Any ideas?

When I replaced my belt it required removing one of the panels from under the deck(10mm socket) to get access to the transmission then I could see that there is a small metal tap next to the pulley that is supposed to keep the belt from coming off. But the belt got past that tab somehow , so I reached in there with a long pair of needle nose pliers and bent the tab out just enough to get the belt back on the pulley, then bent the tab back to it's original position. Then adjusted belt tension per belt tensioner.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I removed a large spring attached to the rear pulley and was able to move the pulley and replace the belt.
