Worked fine out of the box. After 30 minutes I paused. Now it won't start when trigger switch is pulled. Cord checked out fine. Oil level good.

0 The guard bar has two positions. In the forward position the saw is locked and will not start. If you pull it backward it will click and be able to run. You may have inadvertently moved the bar when you paused. Great saw but this feature was designed by an idiot. Also, check all breakers since the saw pulls lots of amps.
