Have a Stihl MS 170 chainsaw. It starts but won…

for Stihl Chainsaw MS 170, 180

Have a Stihl MS 170 chainsaw. It starts but won't let me put the master control section into the warm mode. Thus it will not go into full throttle when pressing the trigger.
