Question About Oregon Chainsaw PRO42CCCSA
Plastic 'shims' in starting mechanism...

Inside the starter pull-cord housing/spring assembly, are two small plastic shims. Mine have broken - and I'm told, I can't get replacements. Surely, this can't be correct? The machine is redundant if i can't start it!
