have a model #62155 battery hose timer purchased w...

have a model #62155 battery hose timer purchased with 24 months,,,,placed 1 set of batteries in @ NEW and used 18 months,,,, took out of service for 3 months with batteries still IN. left on ground out of rain,,started to use yesterday no time on indicator, batteries gone,,,put in new batteries and still display,,,what's up,,,is there a reset?
