My LS55 riding mower goes to slow in reverse. What could be wrong?

5 The good news it can only be a few things, the cheap and easy one is a slipping belt, the more pain expensive one is the transmission is on the way out. Check the tension on the belt and look for glazing (shiny) If you see it replace the belt.
