Question About Murray Snow Blower HMSK80

I have a Murray snow blower, engine model HMSK80, spec: 155642x, D.O.M.: 03148CH053 and am trying to replace the auger belt. the auger idler assembly and spring is preventing me from getting the belt on the engine pully. what am I missing?
