Hi have an older '96 model MTD snowbloer that has quite a bit of play on at the ends of the auger shafts. I can easily remove the bolts holding the bearing nousing on both ends, but that doesn't allow me to remove and replace the Plastic flange bearings. It looks like the only way to get to the bearing is to take the gear box apart. I'm sure there must be an easier way. can someone please advise.
