Question About MTD Lawn Mower 13ay614g401
I have a yard man mtd model y614g hydro lawn tract...

I have a yard man mtd model y614g hydro lawn tractor. While mowing, made a stop, dis-engaged blades and backed up stoped to go forward and now motor dies when engaging pto lever to engage blades. now mower runs fine until trying to engage pto lever. engine dies. help!

5 First of all check if their is something binding the blade. If there is nothing tangled up in the blade try engaging the PTO at a SLIGHTLY higher RPM than normal, or if engaging it at a high RPM try engaging ur with a lower RPM. If you have the RPM's and try to turn it on it will cause it to die.
