I have a Montgomery Ward TMO-3500006 Lawn Tractor (year is 1990, and it's the 42" cut in case you're wondering). Me and my neighbor (he's helping me fix/repair/maintain it), have a question. When the deck is in the off position to start the lawn tractor, does the deck belt and/or blades spin in the off position? We're trying to get the engine to turn over, and he (the neighbor) thinks it shouldn't move. We're just wondering to know if something is installed wrong or not.
