5 Had this problem at the shop before. You could heat up the axle/rim assy with a "rosebud" tip on cutting torch if you have access to one. OR you could SOAK in down with WD-40 and then drive the unit, shifting forwards and reverse with the axle keyway removed. This will almost always work and won't tear you parts up. BTW. You can still get a few parts from MTD, which is now owned by Cub Cadet but you'll find a lot of parts can no longer by ordered or OBS. Might be time to trade her in.
