my timberbear bogs out after 1 minute into cutting at full throttle. I can restart it fine after, but it stops running all at one time while I'm cutting.I have fresh gas with a 50:1 ratio. I'm using a new cj14 spark plug. Last week it was running fine for two days. Then the problems started but not as bad as now.I pulled out the cj7 plug thinking that might be the problem. When I put the new cj14 in it started right up last week and finished the job. This week it shuts down completely. Any idea as to what the problem might be. thanks

0 The manuals states to use a 40:1 ratio only if you use thier oil otherwise use a 20:1 mixture. Otherwise they say you can damage the head.

0 Thank you very much for your reply. Not using 20:1 mixture do you think the head is damaged? This is the first time I used this service and I think it was great. Thanks again

0 It may not be. If you have the instruction manual it tells you the maintenance you should perform... such as... Replacing the fuel filter which is located in the fuel tank (do not disconnect the other end of the hose in the tank or you won't get it back on), clean all the fins around the motor (it may be overheating), you may also check the carb settings (there are three holes on the side of the air cleaner cover. the one marked high I think is the one you would want to adjust.) I would not turn it more then an 1/8 of a turn in either direction and remember where it was set to start with.

0 Also, make sure you clean the air filter with warm soapy water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
