Question About McCulloch Chainsaw MAC CAT 839
Replacement Oil Pump...

I am looking for a replacement oil pump to get this unit going again. It was manufactured in 1995. Amy hope?

5 No luck at all yet. Still living in hope. The pump is intact but doesn't pump oil. Wormgear and casing intact.

0 Did you find a replacement pump? If so could you let me know where you got it , I am trying to find 1 for mine. Housing has split allowing spiral gear to slip on thread.

0 Plastic pipes on mine were also split, try checking these. Been offered replacement from mower-magic as follows: CA 6980606 Oil Pump Assy. £ 29.99

0 Peter - very many thanks for the referral to Mower-Magic. They do indeed list a replacement pump in their spares listing but their source is McCulloch UK which I have already checked says the machine is obsolete and not supported. There is still slight hope in that Mower-Magic did have the serial number listed in their range whereas McCulloch UK did not and were not much interested. I have placed the part on order and await outcome.
