model 31ah4b3h515 no drive, tandem axles with lockup to turn not working?

0 Gary here, I found out that the bypass triggers on the handles for stopping one set of wheels to turn one way or the other and when two are held on you can free wheel the machine, when they are held down and the drive lever is pulled down to go, it goes? Obviously those mechanisms are on backward, or some how turned themselves that way, and the machine moves OK. if you hold them on first and pull the drive lever on. The machine was OK before this happened. I'll have to disassemble the mechanisms at the drive axles and see what changed. Just an update for future references.
