I have a Makita Generator G1300K, and would like to know if it is a two stroke Engine or normal patrol

5 Easy to tell if you look at the crankcase. A 2 cycle engine has a dry crankcase while a 4 cycle you need to add oil to your crankcase. There will be a drain plug close to the bottom and a filler cap and level indicator somewhere visible. In this case you do not mix gas. Most cases , generators are 4 cycle. Engines that are not stationary like chainsaws, weed eaters, ice augers, outboard motors are usualy 2 cycles. Hope this helps.
