My chainsaw is having trouble starting, and I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Can anyone help me?

0 Before starting the engine, make sure you understand where your hands go to avoid injury. Here is a step-by-step: 1) Grab the center handle while holding the throttle with your other hand. 2) With the hand that you grabbing the chainsaw with, locate the guard in front of the handle. This will protect you from the chain and controls the brake. 3) Pull back on the handle (gaurd) to unlock the chainsaw, and press forward to lock again. 4) Once unlocked, the chain will rotate freely and you can start your chainsaw. Page 24 of the manual (provided above) will walk you through starting the engine.
