I have a John Deere X324 lawn mower tractor and I have to take off the gas tank to clean it out. Can you provide me with a procedure to do this? At the moment I am having a problem taking off the Height adjustment knob for the cutting deck. I need to do this in order to take off the rear housing so that I can remove the gas tank. I will also need to take off the 2 right gas foot pedals to get the housing off. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
