Question About John Deere Lawn Mower None
engine promblem...

14 year old Mod. 425 lawn tractor, will start run for five minutes stall out and backfire. Let cool for a few minutes and will do the same thing, replaced coils, plug wires, plugs, fuel filter to no avail.

0 I figured it out by accident, it was a connecting wire from the carberator that meters the gas flow, thru the fuel filter, once unpluged and re-connected again, it filled the filter up and the engine continued to run, with out stalling and backfiring. And the manual I was interested in was the repair manuel, and I still would love to download one, if possible. Thank you for your help, this is a great web-site.
