Question About John Deere Lawn Mower None
drive not engaging...

Hi- Can someone help me with where to begin when the drive is not engaging on my lawn tractor? Throttle and mower blades working as they should. Not hearing any engaging of the rear dif when trying to go forward or reverse. Any help is greatly appreciated on where I should begin looking for the culprit...

0 is the little metal rod pushed in that disingages the rear end for pushing the mower? its behing the seat between the two rear tires
