Blowing the 20A fuse...

The 20A fuse is blowing only when I switch "on" the PTO to engange the mower deck. The wires are good, no short found. Could there be a short in the electric PTO causing the problem? How can I check the PTO for a problem?

0 My Deere 260 lawn tractor used to do the same thing. I finally took the pto unit to the Deere dealer and they tested it. It had high resistance and was not repairable. That is what is probably happening with your unit.
