I need help, i have a 25hp kawasaki motor on a hustler super z 60", and had taken the carb off to clean it all out, well in the process i took off the governor arm that connects to the shaft on the motor, now i put everything back together, the motor revs itself up slowly, and when using the throttle going up, it revs up too soon, and i can tell is over revving.... can anyone help me as to what ive done wrong or the correct position for the governor arm?

0 The governor has three ball bearings that push out/in - sounds like one may be stuck. You may have to take the motor out and take the crank case appart and redo the governor.
