My auger quit turning .......belt slipping so I changed the belts .....this did not fix the problem the new belts are the right number but seems to be to long ........still slips ........any ideas ?

0 The welds on my tensioner puller arm had broken. There were two spot welds on the round pivot point of the tensioner pulley. It may look to be intact but if you can move it front and back or it feels sloppy check the welds. It is hard to see the welds without taking the part off. Also the bearing assembly flange may have become loose. Mine had lost both of its bolts and now needs replacement. You will know if the bearing flange is bad if the impeller shaft can move up and down.
