I have a problem with my LRH 130 with the cutout switches. Sometimes is cuts out every time I get off the seat (when it shouldnt) and sometimes it cuts out as soon as I engage the blade.

5 I have had a similar problem. I believe its the switches in the engine compartment. There are two. I simply pulled the plugs out when its running and put them back in to start the thing. Inconvienient but works. The switches got wet when I washed the mower and have never worked since. It might help.

5 I found a similar solution. I unplugged the switches and then shorted out two of the contacts in the plug so there is no safety feature but i don't need to worry about it any more. I just ALWAYS treat it as if the switches were working for safety reasons. Cheers.

5 Thanks. I have just bypassed the plugs by starting the thing then pulling the safety plugs out and it runs as normal. But it has started this cutting out thing whereby it stops now by itself and wont start unless it is cool. I dont have any power to the ignition switch plug now for some reason. As I said I can jump it from the battery and it starts but not when it is hot. It has got me really buggered. I have found an earth wire melted partly in the loom but that is not the problem.
