Question About Husqvarna Chainsaw 254XP, 257, 262XP
My neighbor's 257 chainsaw won't start. No spark ...

My neighbor's 257 chainsaw won't start. No spark at all, not even a little impulse. The igniter has been replaced but I noticed that the wire leading to the switch got pressed between the pull start cover and the body in several places. Does the igniter fire when the switch is open, or closed? Thanks, Charles Scott
