Chain saw wants to start with the choke @ full, but runs wide open. once I pull the thottle trigger to back off it down and release the choke it dies. The only way it stay running is to keep it running wide open. Just put new Carb. and same problem. What could it be?

0 as a general guide you set your hi and low screws to 1 to 11/4 turns out. Gently turn both screws all the way in, GENTLY seat them home so as to not damage the seats. Then turn the screws one turn out and start from there. This should get the saw running. If you are unfamiliar with the tuning of a two stroke engine it would be wise to get the saw tuned at a mower shop as incorrect tuning can ruin the engine.
