2 Few pointers for good performance: Fresh premix fuel, clean air filter. Two adjustment screws on carb-low & high. Turn both screws in until fully seated, then turn one full revolution out on both screws.Turn idle screw slightly in to advance RPM. At this point NEVER turn lo & HI screw less than one full revolution as the motor could seize, lean mixture.Start chainsaw, keeping revs up on throttle. At this point the motor will either rev high or seem to cut out, turn HIGH screw out a fraction at a time for best performance. If motor is screaming at idle, turn LOW screw out to bring revs down then adjust idle screw for correct idle.Full speed must always be checked with a tachometer on spark plug.A safe full speed 12000 - 14000 rpm but check your specifications first.
