I am having a problem with my 1650 PSI Washer. When I insert the wand into the pressure washer, the "ears" on the wand do not go far enough down to turn and lock into place. It appears that either the shaft is too short or, for some reason ,a washer/collar on the wand prevents the inner shaft on the wand to go further in. Is there a suggested procedure to insert and lock the wand in place?
