im having trouble starting my mower.changed filter...

im having trouble starting my mower.changed filters and fuel line still wont start.seems like the carb is not sucking gas.put gas in carb it fires right up.tell me what im doing wrong

0 this is exactly my problem!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone PLEASE respond. Someone said that it could be the shut off cylenoid(sp). How would you go around that?
