0 suspect the low pressure oil shut off. Check oil level, if OK , then try leveling the unit.

0 I have to raise the engine end slightly to keep mine running. Oil level is dead center between the marks on the dip stick. A level unit will cut out with in 15 - 20 seconds of starting.

0 I have the same generator. 1st check if the fuel filter is clogged. Do this by pulling off the fuel line under the filter under the gas tank. Turn the red valve. If fuel flows freely through the filter, then that's not the problem. If the gas engine hasn't been used in a while, it may be gummed up. I took off the air cleaner and sprayed Gumout in through the open choke. (The air cleaner is the round thing under the choke lever. It snaps off w/ 2 clips). All this w/ the engine off. I was amazed at how dark the fluid was as it flowed out.. Reinstall the air cleaner. You won't need to use the choke to start it. Start it. Mine ran better and better as -I think--the gumout worked it's way through the fuel system. Good luck. All this worked for me and I had the same issue you do.
