I have the #68333 Pacific Hydrostar 1500 psi press...

I have the #68333 Pacific Hydrostar 1500 psi pressure washer. The control handle in the wand does not disengage the main water flow from the electric pump. There continues to be water flow through the machine, but not under any pressure. Is the spring-loaded valve inside the wand handle involved, stuck, etc.? How do you repair this problem?
