Question About Generac Portable Generator 004451 ,004582
Will not stay running...

I can start the unit by squirting raw gas into the carb. It will run as long as I keep squirting the gas in. It has clean gas to the carb. I suspect the fuel shut off solenoid that is located at the bottom of the carb. I have attempted to tset it with 12vdc across the terminals and nothing happens ??
