5 Same problem, had to replace carb,had a hairline crack (from heat). solved problem. Carb.$68 Labor $35 and Generac will not help you, they do not care!!!!!!!

0 I have almost identical problem. It runs good for a bit then starts missing then just quits. I am suspecting a solid state part in the control circuit getting hot after powered up. There is a circuit board that is tied into the ignition ande oil pressure cutoff switch. I'm looking for a parts manual and/or troubleshooting guide. Will post again with aqny progress......

0 Worked one day but no AC power the next day Replaced the regulator board and 2 diodes still no AC power. This is second time it has done this in 2 years I have seen many people have the same problem with this pile of crap generator.. Company will not respond to emails. I think there should be a recall on this junk. I have a generator made in China thats worked when ever I need it for over 3 years now. This Generac is total junk. Tell everyone not to buy this brand of junk. Seems to be no fix for this.

0 seems a lot of people having same problem is company correcting this problem? i will not buy another one
