Question About Generac Portable Generator 004583-0
50 amp breaker...

I've hooked up the generator as directed in instructions but when I start up the system or while it is off the 50 amp breaker on the control panel will not reset it stays off. I've plugged other devices into outlets on the consol and they will work . Why won't the 50 amp breaker reset?
