the only way i can keep it running i have to keep moving the choke switch back and forth fast. after it is running if i leave it on choke it will die, if i take it off choke it will die, if i leave it in the middle it will die. Please help me

5 I had the same problem with a homelite trimmer. The in-tank fuel filter had come off, and some debris was sucked into the carburetor. I removed the carb's metering diaphragm cover and diaphragm and mixture screws and cleaned everything with aerosol carb cleaner. I was able to do this without removing the carburetor from the trimmer. Solved the problem!
