IT WILL TURN RIGHT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS, BUT SLIPS TURNING LEFT & HAS A VERY LIMITED TURNING RADIUS GOING LEFT. I REPLACED THE STEERING PINION GEAR BUT THAT DID NOT HELP. IS THERE SOMETHING THAT REDUCES THE AMOUNT OF PLAY IN THE STEERING SHAFT SO THAT THE PINION GEAR STAYS IN CONTACT WITH THE STEERING GEAR?

0 A lot of times the Hex Flange Bearing or bushing as I call it will wear out and the column is actually moving to one side or the other. I have replaced mine twice and the part number for this part for my '06 LT1042 is: 741-0656A Bearing, Hex Flange, 5/8
