Question About Cub Cadet Lawn Mower Model 12A-18MC056
Recoil starter assembly...

Replaced starter rope, reassembled, but rope doesn't recoil. Tried pre-loading the spring at different tensions, no luck. What's the key to setting the spring tension properly when installing the nylon pulley onto the metal spindle/housing?
