Question About Cub Cadet Lawn Mower LT1045
Need how to on Transmission belt for LT1045...

I am needing directions on how to replace the TRANSMISSION belt not the mower deck belt on a Cub Cadet Lt1045. The owners manual says that a dealer needs to do it. My dealer in this area does not want to do it. If he does it will cost me $100.00 per hour. So I am asking if anyone knows how to replace the belt. I have lost power and before I pay him I would like to see if that is the problem.

0 Remove the mower deck lay mower on it's side remove bolt on PTO clutchwatch for spacers to be replaced correctly remove pully just enough to remove and replace belt. Problem is - pulley and shaft may be rusted Good Luck
