Question About Craftsman Trimmer craftsman weedwacker 31cc
ratio of gas to oil??...

What is the ratio of oil to gas that I should use in this model..I recently received this and have no manual to check this information. Please help.

0 Almost all newer models use 50:1 mix ratio, but your model should say somewhere on or around the engine the correct application. There are still a few 40:1 units around, so if still in doubt mix 40:1. It will smoke a little more, but not to worry. Try to use good synthetic 2 cycle engine oils, as they really do make a difference, less heat and less wear. However, too much oil will eventually plug up the spark arrestor causing the engine to not run at full throttle, or not at all. Jim
