self propelled part of the snow blower quit working--engine fine

5 I assume it has a traction control lever. Make sure it is tight. Tip the blower onto its side and squeeze the lever. You should see it pulling on the traction control arm underneath the motor. If it doesn't, you simply need to tighten the cable. If it has screws to tighten the cable, try tightening them. Otherwise, you may have lost the plastic cap that holds the cable tight against the handle. I fixed mine with a simple hose clamp.
