rod,brake arm...

The brajke arm rod is chewing up mt ayger belt I think there is a spring missing my manuel does,t have a poicture of it that is clear

0 you are correct about the spring. that is the only problem i have with mine. i also can't find my dad's manual but am still looking. go to searspartsdirect.com and you will see the spring and location.
