On my Craftsman snowblower, when I try to engage the auger, I get a screeching sound. The augers do not rotate and the engine either cuts out or starts to misfire. If I do not try to engage the auger, the engine runs perfectly, so I presume the cutting out is due to the load of the auger not rotating. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be are appreciated.
