Seeking help on the installation of a motion belt.

0 empty the gas and remove the cutting deck, unbolt the transmission and be sure to pull the bolts out from the top, or the transmission will shift and be harder to remove later. remove the cotter pins that hold the transmissiong linkage, and the brake linkage to the transmission. if possible, have someone help you lift the rear of the mower, while you pull the transmission off (might require some manuevering to get it all the way off) after the tranny is off, stand the mower up on its front end. Then remove the belt guide, and the old belt should be removeable (might have to pull the clutch lever). Replace with new belt.
