5 Most mowers don't come with gap settings take the wire that plugs into the spark plug and plug it up but don't screw in the plug hold it and ground it out have someone try to start the motor adjust the gap until it makes a satisfactory spark cation e careful it can shock you it won't hurt you bad or kill you or anything but it will sting
