will start but dies just as quick as you get it started

0 I had the same problem. Mine turned out to be the fuel supply line to the carb. Seems that the hose used is not as resistant to gas as we users expect. the hose had disintegrated inside the tank. I bought a new hose and cleaned out the carb. runs like a champ now.
