0 Adjust the LO speed needle valve halfway between stops. Start saw. If it dies when you accelerate open HI speed adjustment screw about 1/8 turn. continue to do this until the saw accelerates or you have turned the idle screw more than 1/2 way then adjust the LO speed needle valve counterclockwise about 1/8 turn until the stop restricts the turning. If all else fails try spraying some carburetor cleaner into the throat of the venturi with the speed (accelerator) vane wide open. You can see it clearly when you squeeze the trigger. Choke has to be OPEN. If you haven't drained the gasoline and ran it dry before storage the lines are probably gummed up. Pour out the old gas mixture and put in some new. Choke the devil out of it. Open the choke and squeeze the trigger of the accelerator and crank several times. Let it rest for awhile before trying again. If it fails to start remove the spark plug and crank a few times to clear out the extra gas. Start over again and hopefully it will start. If it does not start after several tries you may some failed parts in the carburetor which will have to be rebuilt. I can help with that also.
