Question About Chicago Electric Portable Generator 92863
pull start...

cant get the pull start to pull at all, is there a lock or something besides the on off switch or throtle is there something we have to remove to make the crank work

5 i've had the same problem. to fix it you need to drain the oil and you will find that there is gas in the oil. then you need to pull the spark plug and pull the cord a few times. after that you need to pull the bowl off the bottom of the carburetor and check the float to make sure it is not stuck and then put it all back together with new oil and it should start right up.
