Capresso 471 Water will not leave the reservoir . ...

Capresso 471 Water will not leave the reservoir . I may have lost a small part after cleaning the unit. It was working perfectly before. If I press down on the reservoir the water will drain. Please help. A diagram showing parts would be helpful.
