8 hp engine won't start. Appears no spark; replaced plug as old one tested short, checked condenser and tested OK, ie OHM meter needle jumped and held, filed and gaped points and cleaned coil and replaced all. Got a flash on test light from plug wire to ground before installing new plug but couldn't get spark over plug after trying it to ground. ?bad coil - adjusted coil for proper clearance.
